About the Journal
The Computer & Learning (C&L) is an open access, peer reviewed, multi-disciplinary scientific journal that publishes and disseminate scholarly research papers in IT and ICT supported learning and education. C&L publishes original research and application oriented papers as well as review articles, in the areas of IT and ICT in education in both English and Hungarian language. An important mission of the journal is to connect Hungarian-language academics and researchers in different countries and enable them to share their results. Based on this aspects of its mission, the journal is considered equally international as well as regional.
Each paper is evaluated in a blind, peer review process, with at least two reviewers for every paper. Similarity Check is used for plagarism checking and in ethical issues the COPE guidelines are followed.
Publication Frequency
The publication frequency is semi-annually from 2020.

Peer Review Process
The submitted papers should be original, unpublished, and not in consideration for publication elsewhere at the time of submission.
All paper submissions will be referred in a blind review process by initial editor screening and at least two anonymous experts including the international Editorial Board and other external reviewers. The reviewers are independent of the authors. The peer review and internal quality control requires the time period of not less than two months.
The final decision about acceptance is made by the Chairman of the Editorial Board, with the professional support of the Editorial Board based on the evaluation of it's suitability to the journal scope and requirements, reports of qualified reviewers and plagiarism check.
To avoid plagiarism, authors confirm that:
1. Authors understand plagiarism is against the profession ethics;
2. No copyrighted materials have been used in the manuscript without permission;
3. The manuscript is free from plagiarism and has not been published previously;
4. Authors will take the full responsibility for the opinion expressed in the paper and for settling in all disputes arising from using any copyrighted materials in the manuscript without proper permission.
The author will be required to clarify regarding the plagiarized manuscript within one week if it is found to be suspected of plagiarism during any stages even after publication. Without a reasonable and timely explanation, the manuscript will be automatically rejected and removed from the system. Any manuscripts submitted by the same author will not be accepted.
Acceptance rate is approx 60%.
Article Processing and Open Access Charge
The journal does not charge authors any article processing charges (APCs), open access charges, submission, or publication fees.
Open Access Policy
The journal provides gold open access to all of its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
