Advantages of Computer Network Simulation Environment in Education

Abstract

Computer applications are also increasing the potential for education. The Packet Tracer computer network simulation software provides several easy-to-use features for debugging and testing, helping both educators and students. This article presents the results of a survey about Packet Tracer simulator software that can be used to teach the topic of computer networks. The results of the survey show that the use of the simulation environment simplifies the solution of the computer network problems, the possibilities provided by the simulation software allow the visual learning of students, and the simulation environment facilitates the teacher’s work.
